and even it taught me how to study others mind. I believe that in my coming days it will surely help me in my ministry. And I hope that I can equip my congregation through this. I learnt in all 4 topics but mostly I learnt in pastorally and psychologically. I learnt being a
pastor what must I have to do or how to counsel or deal with others. Through this cpe class I learnt how to counsel others. And I even learnt being a leader how to understand or how to study others mind. This is not only in my coming days but even now it’s helping me in many ways..■
Mr. Kauto Chophi
Through cpe class I learned so many knowledge, even how to talk and mingle with others, and being a leader how I have to be. mainly I learned how to communicate with other people and how to live as a leadership life. In biblically way I learned that as a servant of God, we have to keep passion and have to be a wise enough, follow Gods commandment, abide in him, with him and mostly we have to abide in his love as the bible also says in john.15:9 “abide in my love”. Psychologically I learned how to communicate, talks with others and understand their problem. And also how to give counselling in their problem and to make them understandable so that they can be able to understand their problem, and find their solution. In theologically I learned that how to share the gospel and make reach the good news to the people. And also how to make myself meditate in Gods word. And it push me forward in every steps of my life, not only to reach the good news to the other people but it also reaches my heart and teaches me a lot. Lastly in pastorally I learned how to look after congregation, and to make their faith strong in lord. And also how to develop church and deliver the word of god to the people or congregation of the church. So, this is a short not of what I learned in CPE class.■

Biblically: after taking CPE class it help me a lot I never new that my life will be similar from the Bible it help me a lot through biblically it strengthen me in both physically and spiritually. Theologically : As we understand person as creatures of God we have to build relationships according to our faith of tradition and understanding people in the context from root level sharing and encouraging specifically based on the Bible and it will help us to grow more in our ministry also. Psychologically: As a minister of God we need to study the character of human we cannot counsel people without knowing their character, we need to know how to care people suffering from different problem and help them to overcome from their problems. Pastorally : we need to remind ourselves by praying for people needs and by using the biblical language of faith in God pastoral care is that relationship to the other person seeking to open God’s presence, to engender the quality of God’s disclosure we should always be informal by the word and the tradition of the church.■

CPE Pastorally- the functions of the church is sometimes compare with the four walls of the church namely worship, fellowship, education and evangelism. through this function the church prepares to live in harmony with the will of God. there are some traditional function of pastoral care i.e healing, sustaining, guiding and nurturing. Healing- the type of pastoral work in helping persons becoming whole or re-becoming. it is the process of restoring functional wholeness that has been empared as to direction and or schedule. Sustaining– this is the ministry of comforting. the task of the pastoral counseling is to heal sometimes to remedy often but to comfort always. Guiding– an educative guiding that is to make available something which is already within or around the person. reconciling is the task of reestablishing broken relationship between men and fellow women, and between men and God. this can be done through discipline and forgiveness. Nurturing– nurturing is known in the historical expression as training new members in the christian life, or religious education. the pastor should have a real commitment to suffer with Christ in recreating the broken humanity. besides ones intellectual and professional readiness, one should be spiritually prepared to be a partner of Christ in the mission of God. our zeal for communicating concern alone does not make us Christ’s disciples. the pastor should have the mind of Christ, living no room for boasting or arrogance whether or reason of birth, intelligence or status. he or she should be open to peoples criticism, be humble to be able to listen to the peoples story, face situations and responding to them through love without persisting in his or her own way. the pastor should have be one who lives what he or she preaches. the pastor need an adequate training to need the needs of modern people. the pastors humanity is often forgotten by the people. some people claim the pastors 24 hours dedicated service. they also say the pastors house should remain open for 24 hours a day. though pastoral ministry has administrative, responsibility, most of his or her time should be assigned to the caring and nurturing ministry.■

Jesus said the model content and the authority for ministry to the church, his body. In general, whatever the church does in the name of Jesus is pastoral, but we can also speak of ministry in specific situations like pastoral care and counseling God is understood as listening an expecting an understanding God who respects human freedom which he gave to them.■

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) is education to teach pastoral care to clergy and others. CPE is the primary method of training hospital and hospice chaplains and spiritual care. CPE is both a multicultural and interfaith experience that uses real-life ministry encounter of students to improve the ministry and pastoral care provided by caregiver. An underpinning theory of education that structures clinical pastoral education I’d the action -reflections mode of learning. CPE students typically compose “verbatim” of their pastoral care encounter in which they are invited to reflect upon what occurred and draw insight from these reflections .although the practice of pastoral care has a long tradition in Christianity and to some extent in other faith traditions, the systematic analysis of pastoral practice association with clinical pastoral education had it’s beginning in the early 20 century. In addition to learning skills and expanding knowledge related to ministry in a healthcare sitting, students are invited to learn about themselves and how their personal history, faith perspective and individual gift influence their pastoral and professional functioning. Students have the opportunity to shape their learning by setting their own learning goals and seeking experiences and resources to assist in meeting those goals. The clinical method of learning used is a dynamic and creative process which combines action (the actual practice of ministry to persons)and reflection (using resources such as writing reports of visits, discussion and feedback from peers and CPE supervisor, and application and integration of didactic materials). An ongoing learning cycle is formed which enables students to develop and expand their ministry skills and knowledge she also deepen their self awareness and self knowledge. Out of this expanded self awareness and ministry experience, new ministry and relational.■■■
